Spring Break Beach Outfits

With spring break right around the corner, I’m dreaming of sun and sea—but in the midst of midterms, packing for my vacation is the last thing on my mind. When I’m in a rush, I’m often tempted to just throw all my swimsuits in a suitcase and call it a day, but with an entire week of freedom in a beautiful destination, I definitely plan on having plenty of spring break moments beyond the beach too. That’s precisely why my packing list needs to include more than just a bikini—any why I put together these easy outfits to wear for every occasion. Whether you’re en route to your destination, already lying in the sand, or just heading to a tropical night out with friends, here are five Insta-worthy looks to inspire your packing.

Spring Break Beach Outfit

For a day in the sand:

Pair a One-Piece Suit With Pants for an Unexpected Beach #OOTD

Getting tired of your go-to bikini and cover-up beach look? Switch it up with a classic high-cut one-piece in a unique finish like this shimmery metallic one. Pair your suit with culottes and chunky sandals and you’ll be ready to hit the sand or the street. Don’t forget your favorite sunnies and a bright beach bag for a pop of color.

Spring break Road Trip Outfit

For a road trip:

Stay Cozy But Stylish With Joggers and Denim

Whether you’re driving across the state or across the country, the key to a road-trip look is comfort— but that doesn’t mean you have to forgo fashion. For a stylish update on sweats, try pastel joggers, a colorful graphic tee, and an oversize denim jacket. Throw on your favorite sneakers and a pair of classic aviators before you hit the road in style.

Spring Break Brunch Outfit

For a late morning meal:

Take the Perfect Brunch Insta in a Flutter-Sleeve Blouse

The only thing better than a beautiful brunch spread is a beautiful brunch outfit. A soft white blouse and a pair of cropped flares take my weekday uniform of a T-shirt and jeans up a few notches. Espadrille wedges make the look warm-weather approved while statement earrings and chunky sunglasses prepare you for the perfect spring break brunch Insta.

Spring Break Dinner Outfit

For a date night:

Pair Your Slip With Prints for an Unexpected Dinner Look

After a jam-packed day of adventure, grabbing dinner with your squad or your significant other is the perfect fix. Take your printed sundress into the evening by throwing on a pair of heeled sandals in a bright color. Layer on delicate gold necklaces and grab your straw tote before you head out the door. For one last pop of print, wear a silk scarf in your hair to create an elegant, summery finish to the look.

Spring Break Night Out Outfit

For a night on the town:

Give Your Evening Outing Look a Tropical Twist With Bright Florals

One of the best parts of spring break can be experiencing the nightlife in a new city. Make your typical night-out look a little more tropical by pairing a colorful, floral cropped blouse with a denim skirt. Embellished slides exude the laid-back vibes of spring break style while still bringing the bling. Add gold statement earrings and a satin bag to add some extra glam before you head out to tear up the dance floor.

Get This Look: Topshop Floral Print Keyhole Blouse ($55), & Other Stories High Waist Raw Edge Denim Skirt ($55), Zara Beaded Slides with Pearl Beads ($50), Stella + Ruby Leaf Dangle Earrings ($60), Mango Satin Bag ($40)
