ALL IN THE DETAILS: Quick Turnaround

Packing for college can be hard. The storage in most college dorms is practically non-existent. So when it comes to packing a whole season’s worth of clothes in three drawers and two feet by six feet tall wardrobe it’s important that some of your items can pull double duty. In honor of Back to School season and Fall festivities here is one Fashionista who has a unique take on cardigans.

Even though the heat index in New Orleans has been around 100 degrees many of us are already dreaming of our Pumpkin Spice Latte’s and sweater weather. despite the heat this Fashionista still opted for a maroon cardigan and mint floral skater skirt. What I love about this outfit is just how simple it is. Both the cardigan and skirt are items just about any girl has hanging around her closet. Both The skirt and sweater are guaranteed to be hard-working pieces year round. The way this Fashionista turned her sweater cardigan around to make a boat neck top is truly unique. Another great detail? The deep V and buttons going down the back. To finish this outfit off a great pair of metallic sandals can truly go with anything.

How To: To get this look grab your favorite cardigan and turn it around! Try buttoning up the cardigan up first and slipping it on like a pullover sweater to  get it on. Depending on the length of your sweater, you may get some bunching in the back.  To fix that simply undo some of the buttons at the bottom of your sweater. You can choose to have you sweater untucked or like this Fashionista, tuck your sweater into your skirt.
