While exploring the city of Chicago on a sunny summer afternoon, I couldn’t help but notice this Fashionista’s bright pink pastel pants. After complimenting her on her flawless ensemble, I asked if I could take her photo to be featured on my blog. To my luck, she happily agreed!
Pastel pants are a major trend this summer. Some of the many colors they come in are mint green, pale yellow, baby blue, coral and lavender. This Fashionista perfectly demonstrates how to wear pastel pants!
When wearing pink pastel pants, you do not want to have too much pink throughout the rest of the outfit. This way, your pants will stand out even more. This Fashionista chose a navy blue, white and light orange patterned blouse to pair with her pants. She stayed within the same light color scheme, while the navy blue in her blouse was the dark element that really made her outfit pop! She complemented her look with a beige, snake skin patterned leather jacket which effortlessly matches. Pastel pants look great when worn with sandals, and this Fashionista chose adorable white sandals to go with the white in her blouse and bag. She chose to complete the look by wearing a black and white patterned cross-body bag.
How To: Try to mimic this look by purchasing mint green pants. Pair the soft-colored pants with a white or navy blue top. For accessories, try a mint green statement necklace, a white clutch, scarf and beige flats. Be prepared to get compliments on your outfit wherever you go!
