ALL IN THE DETAILS: Look Good, Feel Good

Now that fall is officially here, getting dressed in the morning is probably taking a bit longer. The Fashionistas/os up here in New England have recently been faced with a new challenge, and it’s certainly not one for the faint of heart. Not only do we now have to worry about how well we match, but also how we are going to stay warm walking around campus on these brisk mornings in an outfit that will seamlessly transition to the muggy afternoons (nobody has time for potential pit stains). At times, it can be challenging. Admit it, chilly mornings scream for those plaid flannel pajamas to be slipped on and sported all day long. But we are all stronger than that, don’t commit the crime!

This Fashionista was spotted as she was trying to check off the items on her Sunday checklist. Once we got to talking, she made sure comfort was the key when she got dressed and is seen wearing a medium weight cropped sweater. The loose and cropped style will guarantee she keeps cool in the sun; however, the heavy knit is the perfect balance for the need of morning warmth!

Over the knee boots are a stylish way to ensure the warmth of your legs as you walk all around campus. These suede beauties are a must-have for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. This Fashionista paired these pieces with her favorite distressed jeans to give the look a casual feel. Every girl has that pair of jeans that simply just make her feel good!

Last, but certainly not least, come the charming accessories to complete the look! Several detailed rings, a colorful statement necklace and a delicate watch add another element to polish her off and send her on her way, ready to conquer the world. Or at least the city.

How To: Did you wake up with a chill? Grab some coffee and throw on a long black sweater to keep you warm. The length difference will not only keep you cozy but you’ll look amazing, too!
