Reporting for the final time this semester, I bring you one final fabulous look from the streets of SUNY New Paltz. It’s been an absolute pleasure reporting to you on the many different styles that roam the sidewalks of this lovely little college town. Luckily, I’ll be back next spring semester to report even more looks for you guys so stay tuned!
This look embraces the beauty of lace in 3 different ways entirely. First off, the cream colored cardigan is a beautiful accent piece that is definitely versatile! It can be worn over anything (including lace) to instantly dress it up and add that wow factor! The blush pink blouse has a similar texture to the lace of the cardigan. It is classy and very professional, and it can be worn in business attire or just with jeans. Last but certainly not least, is the lace headband, which is very minimal yet adds that subtle accent that draws attention to this Fashionista’s up-do.
Of course, you can never forget about the basics! When paired with an A-line black skirt and these adorable gray ankle booties, this Fashionista keeps the rest of the outfit simple to ensure that the lace is the main star.
All three pieces are traditionally accent pieces. They are the dose of detail that every outfit needs, however, this Fashionista put them all together to create an original yet not overpowering look that is achievable in many different ways. Making it personal is definitely the key to creating a killer confident look.
