Bundle up, baby, because it’s officially winter! We have a lot of names for the winter here in Chicago, but despite all of them, it still isn’t as cold as it has been in the past.
While I am not a big fan winter, I do enjoy seeing the coats that people wear, especially on a college campus where there is an array of outerwear. In the last two weeks, alone, this Fashionista has worn at least three different coats that have gone with her outfits. She is the queen of always looking fashionable and makes you want to shop. Katlyn’s outfit draws attention because not only does she look warm; she looks fashionable as well. Wearing a black Calvin Klein coat with a faux fur hood and silver accents, she accessorizes her outfit with booties and an over-sized bag for her books.
Out of her entire fashionable look, I am a particular fan of her coat. During the cold months, a lot of the times, people can be seen looking like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. At other times, people just look cold. This Fashionista’s coat is a happy median between the two.
I am the queen of saying, “It’s too cold to be cute or fashionable,” but this Fashionista manages to do both in a way that says,”Here I am winter!”
