ALL IN THE DETAILS: Funky Fur Collar

Everything about this Fashionista’s outfit screams chic, while still achieving that easygoing, effortless look. It’s a look that can easily please many different personal styles. Those who love grunge or those who favor minimalism can easily adapt this outfit to their wardrobes. It’s a look that can also easily transition between various occasions. You can sport it for class, an on-campus lecture, a coffee date or even a casual get-together.

This entire outfit features various fall essentials that all accent the main attraction, her long coat with a black fur collar. She has on a ribbed, heather gray top with black skinny jeans that are ripped at the knee. On her feet are maroon ankle boots with a rubber sole.

Of course, my favorite part of the whole look is her winter coat. It’s definitely a completely unique choice from the puffy North Face coats or the standard peacoats that you’ll see around campus. It’s length may be intimidating to some, but it gives the entire outfit more character. Additionally, the fur collar is a nice adornment without being too excessive.

The oversized, menswear look has definitely been on trend for this winter. This wool blend coat is another example of this classic feature to an outfit. Although not pictured, the Fashionista’s coat has a belt to help cinch it in at the waist.
