Welcome back to my page Fashionistas/os! Don’t get “choked” up choosing a back to school outfit this fall. College classes across the nation are back in session! For me, not only does that mean long hours of studying and procrastination, it also means it’s time for style inspiration. One of my personal favorite things to do around the University of North Florida campus is to scope around and look for students rocking new trends. This week, a Fashionista showed off her super fly outfit and you won’t believe how simple it is to attain this look.
Chokers, chokers, chokers! What would we do without them? It doesn’t matter where you live and what time it is; a choker will be seen. Almost every store I walk into has a variety of chokers, including Free People, Altered State, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters and many more. They’re just IN. This Fashionista bought her choker from Altered State for an affordable price and pairs it with multiple outfits each week. Don’t feel like an outfit is complete? Throw on a choker! She explained that she’s just like me and uses the app “Pinterest” to keep up on the latest trends and found an outfit very similar to the one that she’s wearing in the pictures. Sometimes we need that extra inspiration from a third party. Another detail that added to this outfit was the silver, three-layered necklace and black strappy heels.
I love watching the history of fashion change and repeat over time. The choker trend brings back a sweet taste of the ’90s! Our most favorite modish celebrities like Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are flaunting their passion for chokers and influencing Fashionistas all around the world!
