One word: fur. I am completely obsessing over fur coats this winter, and I don’t mean the ones your mother and grandmother own. Oversized shaggy coats are making a huge statement this season. While peacoats and puffer jackets are a safe winter bet, fur jackets are a great way to make a statement and stand out in the dreary days of winter. Just because winter is a bore doesn’t mean your wardrobe has to be!
When I walk around campus, I am pretty sure people think I only own one single coat. I am always bundled up in the same olive green puffer jacket and tan leather gloves, so I needed some major outdoor attire inspiration! That’s when I spotted this Fashionista. Her style immediately translated as effortless and cool. The slightly oversized cream fur jacket she was wearing stood out among the sea of black winter staples. However, the way she chose to style this jacket is what really caught my eye. I love the sporty chic aspect of the black joggers (what’s better than acceptable sweatpants?) along with her electric blue snakeskin print sneakers. One of my all time favorite things is when someone has a style that is completely and unapologetically their own, and this Fashionista definitely had that!
