ALL IN THE DETAILS: Bright Kicks

Is it just me, or is anyone else noticing that New England has become the new North Pole? Although I haven’t found Santa or the elves, I’m bound to find them some time or another. In Massachusetts it’s literally impossible to see anything because snow is covering everything. One minute you are walking with your friends and the next minute you turn to look at them you can’t find them! Hopefully you’ll always have that one friend who is smart enough to wear something bright, just like today’s Fashionisto!

When you’re trudging around in this wild winter wonderland that seems to be lasting forever, why not throw on some fly shoes. If you’re going to risk your life outside, you should at least do it in style. I’m not sure how long this Fashionisto lasted outside in the below freezing weather, but at least he looked good with his bright kicks. For starters, he’s wearing a cozy navy Burton hoodie, followed by khakis and his colorful kicks that brighten up his look. With all the crazy amounts of snow around, now’s the perfect time to wear shoes that contrast with the snow. I mean, if you’re worried about being run over by a snow plow, bright shoes are also a good idea. If you’re mostly just thinking about looking good, start by adding some vibrant shoes that will instantly make you stand out. Not only are the sneakers that this Fashionisto is sporting, fun and colorful, they’re also comfortable shoes that would be great for walking around in. Sometimes boots are annoying and clunky so find some comfortable shoes so you can give your feet a break! Or hopefully the snow will just get the idea and go away.

How To: Thinking about what to wear on casual Friday? Start by throwing on a warm sweater, some cute loose jeans, bright kicks and finally a thick winter peacoat.
