Hello Fashionistas! Let’s get to the details, shall we? (Sorry for the pun). This Fashionista’s look really attracted me because of the unique, edgy black details of each accessory. She described this outfit as “comfy and put together.” This outfit is very trendy and neutral colored. It can also be worn day to night.
Let’s start with the leggings. The holes on the one side of the leggings are a big factor of this looks edginess. This “hole-y” look has been a huge trend recently. Whether it’s a t-shirt, pants, etc. the disheveled or messy look is very in right now.
The open-back sweater is super trendy. This style has also been very popular recently and gives the outfit a flirtatious appeal, because it is off-the-shoulder. The Fashionista paired the sweater with a lacy bralette, which complemented her other black accessories.
The black choker with gold studs was my favorite accessory of this piece. 2016 was definitely the year of the choker craze. This choker is simple, trendy, and can dress up any outfit. Additionally, the hoop earrings were a nice touch and went well with the outfit.
The Fashionista’s black hat ties this laid-back look together. Additionally, the platform shoes dress up the outfit a little more. They have a very vintage look to them which is why they complement this modern hipster’s outfit.
Overall, the simplicity of the black accessories did not distract the rust colored sweater. They gave the look an edge and complemented one another.
