Hey guys, welcome to my page! I’m Collin “Cj” Robinson, your new Style Guru. I’m an Atlanta native, singer/songwriter, and a senior at Syracuse University studying communications design. I enjoy creating designs, painting, making music, watching movies, and new experiences, which is why I’m so excited to be apart of CollegeFashionista!
Fashion has always played a major role in my life simply because it gives you the opportunity to express yourself and make a statement. I am a street style enthusiast with strong passion for menswear. My style is very eclectic, drawing influence from pop culture, street style icons such as Michael Jackson, Nick Wooster, Kanye West, and Tinie Tempah, as well as making cultural allusions to ’90s fashion, British menswear, and Youth Culture.
With any outfit I put on, the goal is to give off a sense of sophistication with an edge. My “go-to look” almost always begins with denim—simply because its so versatile that you can easily dress it up or down, wear it all seasons, and be comfortable too. Here I am wearing a monochromatic, denim on denim look; I have on a pair of vintage overalls with a white button-up shirt underneath—to visually break the denim combo up a little, my denim jacket layered on top, my denim dad cap, and Adidas superstar trainers to give my look a throwback feel.
