WHAT TO WEAR: Class

It’s that time of year again. The first few weeks of classes have started, and Los Angeles, California is chillier than expected. Fall seems closer this year than it has in previous years. Morning has been cloudy and cold, but by the afternoon it’s hot again. Finding an outfit that will keep you warm enough in the morning and cool enough in the afternoon is a challenge. Most of the time it feels like you have to choose whether you’re dressing for the cold or the heat in the morning. A carefully crafted outfit can have you prepped for both.

This kind of weather makes you want to roll out of bed, put on your largest and comfiest sweatshirt, a pair of yoga pants and some Nikes. Walking around campus in the morning, there are seas of people wearing sweatshirts and looking miserable because it is below 70 degrees in California during September. By the afternoon, these same people are either walking around sweating or looking thankful that they remembered to throw a cute T-shirt on underneath, for later.

I found this Fashionista who effortlessly put together an outfit for class. She achieved a look that was cute, but casual and comfy. Her outfit was also perfect for the weather change between morning and afternoon. Her sweater was light and cozy, but still cute. It kept her warm in the mornings but cool enough for the afternoon. She paired it perfectly with some distressed denim. The outfit was finished with a pair of adidas and some small accessories, including opal earrings and some rings.
