STYLE GURU BIO: Isabella Arjomand

Hey guys! My name is Isabella Arjomand and I am currently a second year public relations major at the University of Florida! This will be my second semester writing for CollegeFashionista and I could not be more thrilled to be doing what I love.

I believe in the partnership of style and voice. My voice became especially obvious through my style during my adolescent years. So when asked, “What could you do every day for the rest of your life and still be happy?” my response was easy. Fashion is a part of my everyday life, but it’s also something where I can be innovative. My style has transformed and gone through phases throughout my life. I have gone from Old Navy chic to tomboy, and preppy to grunge, to name a few. Although my style has gone through cycles and constantly developed, one thing has always stayed consistent, my personal growth.

I am inspired by many celebs and designers, but I’m also captivated by the unique trends brought to college campuses by my peers. My fashion icons range from Cara Delevingne and Hailey Baldwin, to my best friend and roommate, Adelia. The look I chose in this article was a simple, but chic look that can serve day or night use! The cropped flare jeans are a statement, so I advise pairing a plain crop top with them. I love a good choker with any outfit, so I figured pairing a black lace-up heel would tie the look together! This look is great for a shopping day or going out with your friends.

I’m so excited for this semester to feature some of the most out-there, but doable trends for the fall. Going to school in a not so fabulous area can hold so many people back from truly expressing themselves in their style. My goal is to show girls and guys that no matter where you live or who you are around, your style will only lift you up.
