It’s the end of the semester, finals are killing us but summer is right around the corner! Personally, summer is my favorite season for fashion! There are so many prints and bright colors in summer fashion and trends that are worn, no matter the occasion. I personally love the bright floral print that comes out on the loose dresses and rompers and skirts. I had to stop this Fashionista when I saw her wearing this cute and short floral mini dress.
This Fashionista is rocking a ruffled and short floral dress paired with a vintage denim jacket and Dr. Martens. She accessorized the look with a black choker and silver pendant necklace and some black sunglasses. I thought this was a cute and fashionable way to incorporate a summer trend into an everyday class look. Her dress gave a nice pop and dressed up her simple denim jacket.
You can not only rock it to go to class but can be worn on a shopping day or a lunch date or an outside day concert. This look is also really easy to re-create yourself and put your own spin on it. This Fashionista’s denim jacket was a vintage piece that used to be her mom’s; however, you can find something similar at Urban Outfitters. Floral print dresses are fun because they are so many different styles and prints and colors that you can pair with a look like this and you can dress them up or down. Also, to take this look up a notch, you could pair the denim jacket and dress with some heels or booties.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I always feel comfortable in dresses that are flowing for the summer, especially with the hot weather. This dress was cute and comfortable for walking to class and the jacket works with it for when I get in class and its cooler. Summer fashion is a time for everyone to have fun with their style!”
