WHAT TO WEAR: Vacation

What to Wear

It’s that time of year again. The dreadful semester is coming to an end and much deserved sweet summertime is calling our names. The one thing that instantly comes to mind when thinking about summer is relaxing vacation time. Feeling the warm sun, sipping on a piña colada and more down time then you even know what to do with. Ahhh, summer vacation.

I ran into this Fashionista and her ensemble screamed vacation ready. Her vibrant hued top and crisp white jeans suited a look ready for any tropical vacation. I instantly pictured her after a long day of fun in the sun picking out this outfit for semi-casual dinner at a local restaurant. Being on vacation is always relaxing, but it is also a perfect time to play with brighter colors then you normally would and wear. I love this printed shirt that would also look amazing with a simple pair of jeans or shorts.

It is also great to finally break out those white skinny jeans that were most likely collecting dust in your closet this past winter. Ocean breezes typically make vacation nights a little chilly especially after getting your first real sunburn of the season. This longer length sleeve and full jean are breathable yet warm enough for an unexpected chill. This top is not only eye-catching due to its playful bright pattern, but it has a sexy buttoned back that adds a little surprise to the entire look.

Wedges are the typical must have item packed in your suitcase for any summer vacation. This Fashionista looks confident in her tan chunky wedges that add a more casual flair to the entire outfit. Wedges are not only more comfortable for exploring the streets, but they dress up a look without being too over complicated. Add some simple jewelry like this Fashionista’s dainty and feminine pearl necklace or opt for something more chunky like this one to go along with the island vibes.

Get through those last few weeks of school daydreaming about your summer vacation and try out some of these trends this Fashionista is flaunting!

One Simple Change: Make this outfit more ideal for a festival by throwing on a casual denim vest and wearing white shorts instead of jeans. Opt for some comfy feminine tennis shoes and save the wedges for a more appropriate occasion.
