WHAT TO WEAR: Tailgating

Michigan State has had an awesome football season. Although we may have lost, our winning record makes tailgating a hype time to celebrate being a Spartan. From tailgating at Michigan and watching our team win after the last second (it really happened if you have heard) to drinking hot cider on a mid-30 degree day, there is one thing about tailgating that never gets old: the fashion. One of my favorite things about tailgating is having the opportunity to dress to impress. My go-to is all-black everything and a touch of green for school spirit. Some girls like to go all out in green and white striped overalls, but I aim to be comfortable and fashionable.

I caught this Fashionista walking through off campus housing on her way to meet up with some friends on game day! Her look is a more grunge classic look than most of the girls I see on game day. One of my favorite things about her look is the Midwestern touch of a black down vest. Her game day gear included a T-shirt from our amazing 100th Rose Bowl game win against Standford, black skinny jeans and black combat boots.

One Simple Change:
This outfit can be a quick change for any weekend. Switch out the football geared T-shirt and black vest for a classic white V-neck T-shirt with a long gray button less cardigan. If you are an accessories person, you could add a layer of necklaces and a few rings.
