WHAT TO WEAR: Pearl Street Fashion

People who live in Colorado are very familiar with its bipolar weather changes throughout the year. Last week’s coldest days of the year were followed quickly by a very random, warm day, which had almost every student on campus eager to go on an adventure. With everyone going out on Pearl Street, a very common place in Boulder for students to hang out, I thought it would be a great idea to look around for specific styles to see if I could capture any good, fashionable looks out there. I later came across a friend of mine, a Fashionista, who just so happened to be dressed so perfect for her Pearl Street hang out.

Pearl Street is a place that’s only a few miles away from campus. It is a place of diverse fashion, music, and culture. Knowing the theme of what Pearl Street is all about, this Fashionista put together a very simple look to match her style, and added a touch of fun accessories to match the theme. Her layered look is great look for a day of shopping and hitting the local coffee shops.

In this look, the Fashionista has on a pair of ripped, black pants and a crème, spaghetti strap, satin top with lace detailing. She finished up the look with some contrasting patent leather, burgundy ankle boots, some accessories, and a bowler hat. Overall, the neutral color pieces mixed really well with this Fashionista’s colorful boots and accessories which helped match the fun environment.
