WHAT TO WEAR: Concert

With Lollapalooza right around the corner, many devout concert goers are preparing themselves for four days filled with good music, good vibes and most importantly, good fashion! Festival wear goes hand-in-hand with summer fashion and is perfectly embodied in this Fashionista’s ensemble.

The most perfect piece of this concert-ready look is the oh so trendy black bodysuit.  I was pleasantly surprised to see this trend make such a huge comeback because it’s perfect for the summer and perfect for having a care-free good time. And the best characteristic of the bodysuit is that it allows you to go bra-less, am I right ladies?

This Fashionista paired her bodysuit with a some high-waisted denim shorts for a killer combo. It’s best to wear somewhat loose-fitting bottoms with a bodysuit to avoid awkward underwear-esque lines ruining your chic look. Just as any smart daytime concert goer would, she added a pair of sunglasses, bringing another pop of color to her outfit.

Go heavy on the accessories to personalize your concert look just as this Fashionista does.  My personal favorite piece is her unique choker which adds an edge to her festival outfit.

If you have scary, un-pedicured toes and an undying love and devotion for Dr. Marten’s such as myself, choose a pair of combat boots to rock with your summer outfit and add a grungy vibe. These particular boots are perfects for long days filled with walking, standing, grooving, possibly moshing if you dig that sort of thing, and inevitably having your poor little feet stepped on in the crowd.

Do as this Fashionista does and finish your festival look off with eccentric makeup.  She quite literally coordinates head to toe by matching her purple boots with a vibrant purple lipstick.  Take it one step further by embracing the summer’s makeup trends with a colored wing eyeliner or some glitter brows.

One Simple Change: This Fashionista has everything she needs to enjoy any concert in style. This attire can be easily transformed into an outfit for a girl’s night out by swapping the combat boots for a pair of block heels or platform sandals
