WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Some of us are lucky enough to be morning people…and some of us are not. Also, some of us are really on top of our game by planning our outfits for the next day and laying them out the day before. I, however, am not one of those blessed souls. This means Mondays can be my worst enemy when it comes to looking fabulous.

This Fashionista showed me an outfit that is adorable and perfect for this fashion dilemma. She really pulled off a preppy, yet cozy, look. She added some key aspects to the outfit that I think really make it perfect. To get this look, she simply has jeans paired with a knit sweater. To stay warm in these winter months, she added a quilted vest. My favorite part of the outfit are her winter boots and her socks.

I am sure you have noticed that the style boots this Fashionista is wearing are super hot this season (if you are living in a climate that needs them of course). This being said, when Christmas rolled around they were added to my wish list because I knew that a harsh winter on my campus awaited me. I couldn’t imagine a better way to make snow boots look cute! Alas, the L.L.Bean online stores were quite sold out because everyone wanted these wardrobe must-haves. This Fashionista informed me that other well-known retailers make these boots, because hers were made by Sperry Top-Sider.

All you have to do to add some unique touches to this outfit is to throw on some of your favorite simple jewelry. She chose her monogrammed necklace.

One Simple Change: Add a cute scarf or hat! I suggest a beanie because that has become a trendy staple piece in the wardrobe of many Fashionista/os this season. Or, to make this outfit a little less casual for a night out with friends, remove the vest and replace these boots with some wedge heel boots!
