I have recently become obsessed with the sporty trend. It creates the best of both worlds because it is a super causal trend that still manages to look stylish. One of the biggest factors in this trend is the comeback of adidas. Sadly for me I got rid of my adidas from middle school thinking they would never be trendy again ,but as every once-popular trend does, they are making a major comeback. Now that I have gotten my own pair of Adidas superstars, all my outfits are dedicated to finding the best way to wear them.
After seeing the Stella Jean fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection look number 21, I found a new way to wear my adidas. In the look, the model is wearing all black besides around her neck. I decided to try this same concept but let the shoes stand out instead.
The metallic stripes on the side of the sneaker made the sneakers stand out against my all black ensemble. Like the runway look, I wore an entirely black outfit to show off the shoes. Keeping it cozy with a simple black and gold zipper sweater and black jeans allowed for balance with the bold shoes.
In order to match the gold zipper in the back of the sweater, I added simple gold accessories to finish off the look. My gold sparkly watch matched the metallic aspect of the shoes, making the perfect accessory for this look. Finally, I am also wearing my giving keys bracelet which I never take off. I love matching my jewelry to my outfit and these pieces helped to finish off this causal yet stylish look.
