STYLE GURU STYLE: Falling for Fall Style

Hey there, Fashionistas! I’m back with another look. This time I will be showcasing my typical fall style! As we all know, autumn is approaching quickly, and I for one can say that I am very excited. There is nothing quite like the time where the summer heat falls into autumn, the leaves start turning crisp and everyone’s favorite: just about everything becomes pumpkin spice flavored. With all of these changes, our wardrobes are must adjust as well! So, here is how I took some of my favorite summer staples and transitioned them into the perfect autumnal ensemble.

I grabbed one of my favorite sweaters from summer’s cooler nights, a white, crochet crop top, and switched out my summer staple of jean shorts for this lazer-cut leather skater skirt in a beautiful, dark maroon: the perfect fall hue! I paired the outfit with an autumn staple, heeled booties. These brown, buckled booties are ideal for everything from walking to class to a night out with friends, as the heel as manageable and stays comfy all day. To add some interest to the look, I grabbed my favorite black fringe bag, which I embellished with some of my favorite vintage band pins. It’s always essential to add your own personal flair to each ensemble! I finished off the look with some big black sunglasses and a dark maroon lip, a fall classic.

As the days get shorter and the air gets crisper, there is a feeling of change and opportunity in the air. Fall is the time to start new, although we may long for the carefree summer days in the sun, there is beauty in embracing change. I hope that all of your lives, (and wardrobes!), experience amazing change and growth this coming season. As always, I hope to have inspired some of you with a couple style tips of my own.
