STYLE GURU BIO: Tiffany Goldstein

Greetings Fashionistas/os! Ohio University Style Guru Tiffany here once again trying to spread my personal fashion advice and to make our campus full of thriving prepsters and hipsters. Last semester I had the opportunity to work with CollegeFashionista, and express the trends that walk the streets of Athens, Ohio through photographs. I am honored to be able to capture, once again, the fashionable outfits that my fellow Bobcats have to offer. As a Broadcast Journalism and Fashion Product Development major, this internship has taught me how important deadlines are. Working with the CollegeFashionista team has also taught me that if you see an individual doing something or wearing something that stands out—stop, say something, photograph it, write about it and compliment it.

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York and was brought up in a fashion-forward family. If I’m not spending my summers in the Hamptons strolling down Main Street window-shopping, I am helping my older sister with her fashion blog, “ThePreppyMAG,” covering events in Manhattan. I was brought up idealizing CoCo Chanel, and my all-time favorite perfume is Coco Mademoiselle or Chanel No.5. These classic scents may be a bit mature for some; however, they will always remind me of my mother and my favorite designer, CoCo Chanel.

As I spend my time on Ohio University’s campus, I enjoy getting involved and giving back to the community around me. I am currently the stylist for the student-run fashion magazine, Thread Magazine, a reporter and broadcaster for the Ohio University radio and television station, WOUB, a public relations chair, Historian and sister for Alpha Delta Pi, as well as an out of state ambassador for students across campus.

Please come along with me once again, as I begin this fashion adventure in my favorite place, Ohio University, and together we can enjoy our passion for fashion.
