Hi, there! My name is Sarah Warner and I am a sophomore fashion merchandising student at Kent State University. I’ve loved fashion since before I could form whole sentences, and found out along the way that I wanted to make a career out of it. This will be my fourth consecutive semester writing for CollegeFashionista and I am stoked to get started!
I am 20 years old and have a triple minor in fashion media, public relations, and marketing. My dream job after college is to go into fashion journalism or publishing. I love dogs more than words can describe, and my go-to coffee drink is a iced latte with coconut milk. Fashion is and has always been one of the biggest factors in my life; my style icon is the timeless Audrey Hepburn.
In my eyes, style is never just about the clothing we put on our bodies. Style is the silent narrative fashion writes for our lives. For many people and myself included, finding and crafting a personal style is something that takes time and much inspiration. It wasn’t that long ago that I was wearing bad band T-shirts layered over long sleeve shirts paired with boot-cut denim. I haven’t perfected my style yet, but I am excited for you to come on this journey with me.
For this look, I took a denim peplum top and paired it with a leather moto jacket. I added high-waisted skinny jeans, booties and some quirky jewelry.
