Hi, my fellow fashion lovers!
Welcome to my page! Let me introduce myself. My name is Monica San Luis and I am a sophomore at Boston University. I’m currently all about fun sunnies, fresh manicures, acai bowls, statement handbags, traveling, swag sneakers, unique chokers and skinny vanilla lattes.
The beginning of my childhood was spent in the Philippines. During my time there, I developed a love for traveling. After visiting a number of different places all over the world, the most breathtaking, in my opinion, is where I have lived for the past 13 years: Honolulu, Hawai’i.
Hawai’i is nowhere near the fashion capital of the world. In fact, almost no one differs from Brandy Melville crop tops and high-waisted shorts. When I found myself hesitantly busting out a pair of booties and throwing on a leather jacket in 85 degree Fahrenheit weather, I knew I had a passion for fashion.
Fashion has always been a lifestyle for me. For as long as I can remember, I never feel good unless I look good. Even in the midst of a break up or a bad day at school, I always make sure my comfy sweatpants match my headband.
I would describe my style as classy and refined because I like to dress in many different looks which I can always put my own spin on. An element that you can find in almost any of my looks is a statement piece. I tend to stick with basic and neutral tones in order to allow my statement pieces to, well, make a statement.
Two of my favorite places to shop are Forever 21 and Zara. However, it is at random boutiques I stumble upon when traveling abroad where I tend to unhealthily spend my money. These stores often have pieces that are very different from the clothing in American stores due to the cultural differences. And if you know me, you know that I LOVE unique pieces.
I am obsessed with photography so I am constantly updating my Instagram. That is where you can keep up with me and all of my current favorite outfits, restaurants and activities!
