Hello, lovely Fashionistas! My name is Megan, and I’m studying photographic journalism at Leeds Beckett University in England. Being from England, I’m used to wearing winter clothes almost all year round and always know how to dress for rainy weather. I’m really excited to be joining the CollegeFashionista team and showing you the best Fashionistas on my campus.
My studies at university link to the work I’ll be doing for CollegeFashionista so well. I’m really happy I’ll be part of an internship that’ll further my experience in the photojournalism field. I love taking photos (it’s one of my favorite hobbies) and I am really pleased to be able to take so many photos as a part of the CollegeFashionista team.
My style can be quite minimalist (I love my leggings and jeans), but I do have to have at least one accessory as a part of my outfit. Whether it’s just a small ring or bracelet, I’ve got to have something. The bracelet shown in the outfit I’m wearing in this post is faux suede. It is one of my favorite bracelet’s as it can be worn with almost every outfit.
My button-up shirt and jumper are two of my favorite items. Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons because I love to layer. Layering can really make an outfit pop so it’s always something that I try to do.
My denim jacket is something I like to wear on the side as well. It’s only something I will throw over my shoulders if I feel like it or if I think I need more layers because it gets cold in England!.
Finally, my black military boots I wear pretty much everywhere. They go with absolutely everything. Even floral summer dresses! They are the most amazing winter boots because as well as looking great, they actually have a lot of grip in the ice and snow.
