Hey guys! My name is Katie and I’m going to be a junior this fall at SUNY Oneonta. I love Oneonta with all my heart but I do hope to transfer to FIT my senior year to continue my path in Fashion Merchandising. I would love to pursue a career specializing in children’s apparel. I work with kids during the summer and I think they are awesome. They wake up every morning and are stoked on life and their laughs are so infectious. I always loved fashion since I was a chipper young lady myself. I attended a private Catholic school since pre-kindergarten, but my teachers were not too keen on me wearing makeup or straying from the dress code—but I couldn’t help it; I had to be different. My sense of style changes from day-to-day. I wake up a different person every morning and I love it. My wardrobe consists of preppy clothes, edgy clothes, hippie clothes, professional clothes, workout clothes and the list goes on.
Besides killing the fashion game, I love soccer, skittles, chicken nuggets and happy people. If you’re in a bad mood or are generally unsatisfied with life then stay away from me because you are killing my vibes! I also have a passion for music. I can and WILL listen to anything. Pop punk, indie rock, classic rock, country—I love it all! You can always find me blasting a tune and singing all the lyrics completely off-key. I love The 1975 and Mayday Parade the most
Today, I am rocking black high-waisted jeans that cuff at the ankle. Black jeans are very slimming and the high-waist makes them trendy. I am wearing a crop top that is black with an intricate pattern. Black and maroon is my favorite color combination. To add a little height to my five foot one body, I threw on black heeled booties. These are my favorite shoes because they are classy and comfy! I purchased them at H&M for a great price. My black Steve Madden bag is always my go-to. It is very large so it holds all my belongings but also makes a great accessory. I kept the jewelry simple with my favorite watch, a beautiful Movado. This contemporary watch has a silver-toned dot and hands with a slim bangle. My makeup was simple but with a bold dark cherry lip, a lip color you can always find me wearing.
