STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Keep Cool and Fall for September

Transitioning from season to season is always hard, but it’s particularly difficult when the end of August rolls around. Dressing becomes a constant battle between wanting to show off your new fall clothes and while staying cool in the heatwhat Fashionista isn’t just dying to flaunt those cool new booties or those fabulous new pants? Well, Fashionistas (and Fashionistos), don’t panic! Transition time all about finding balance, strategically pairing your best pieces. The best way to overcome what may seem like a wardrobe malfunction is to stay calm, cool and collectedliterally and figuratively!

This Fashionista chose a flowy top, which kept her cool in the heat. She paired it with an Aztec print fitted skirt with an asymmetrical hemline (its knit fabric gave the outfit a more fall look). To accent the deep plunge in the blouse, she rocked a gold necklace, complementing it with gold rings and bracelets. To top off the look, she chose her newest leather fringe booties and her fringe black bag. With a look like this, this Fashionista beat the summer heat and gets ready to take on fall fashion!

Hold on to those flowy, cool fabrics and pair them with a color palette that leans towards warmer, fall hues. It’s a quick transition; before you know it, you’ll be looking for your chunky sweaters and corduroys! But hey, let’s not wish away the warmth too fast!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? Changing seasons can seem like a stressful job! I am always itching to wear something new, so I have found that the best way to transition between seasons is to incorporate the items that can work for both seasons!
