WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

What to Wear

Just because it’s the weekend, that doesn’t mean it’s time to slack off and dress like a slob. While it would be silly to wear a ball gown to hang out at the mall, it would be sloppy to wear your worn out sweatpants and ex-boyfriend’s flannel that he gave you months ago. It’s understandable to want to be comfortable on the weekends, it’s more important to look your best at all times.

This Fashionista did a perfect job combining two of my favorite C words: comfy and chic. While the Chuck Taylor’s give the outfit a relaxed look, the fur vest screams, “I’m fashionable and ready for whatever the day has in store!” The high-waist black jeans are perfect for any occasion and really accentuate this Fashionista’s long legs. The tie-dye “I LOVE NY” shirt is a simple and relaxing piece. While it could be too sloppy if worn the wrong way, it looks super cute and ready for a jam-packed city afternoon tucked into her jeans.

The accessories that this Fashionista paired with the outfit really make it one to remember, differentiating her from a group. The black beanie and Ray-Bans give the ensemble a grunge look, while the big necklace and arm candy make it more flirty and cute.

Next time you’re getting ready for a weekend adventure, don’t wear your gym clothes in public. Take the extra time to get ready and follow in this Fashionista’s footsteps. It’s super cute and super doable for everyone!

One Simple Change: Ditch the beanie and the Ray-Bans. Swap out the Chucks and the T-shirt for a simple black long sleeve tee and your favorite pair of brown boots; you’ll have an outfit perfectly suited for an early morning class!
