Five Ways To "Healthify" Your Favorite Fall Dishes

October 12th, 2016 at 2:00am

While you might think that haunted houses, cornfield mazes and horror movies are the only things you need to be scared of this month, I have something that is probably spookier than all of those things combined: how unhealthy some of your favorite fall dishes really are.

Okay, so maybe I’m being a little over dramatic; but truth is comfort food comes with a cost. While I do agree that the holidays are all about indulging, and that you should often partake in “treating yo self,” I also am a firm believer in cutting back where you can. While swapping out your grandma’s secret casserole recipe for a more lean alternative this season may seem like a scare-fest, I promise you it can be easy (and delicious)! So without further ado, here are some guilt free fall recipes that you can savor all month long.
