How to Get a Peachy Glow on a Budget

July 11th, 2017 at 2:00am

Hot weather means warm, glowy makeup! Peach hues look great on all skin tones, making it the perfect summer color. Luminous skin, glamorous eyes, and glossy lips are my go-to beauty hacks for this season. Check out these drugstore products to create a radiant, peachy look that won’t drain your bank account!

The L’Oréal Pro Glow Foundation ($13) is lightweight and medium coverage, giving your skin a glowing finish that lasts all day!  Applying this foundation with a damp sponge makes blending super easy, keeping the look very natural. For oily skin, dust some translucent powder under the eyes, middle of the nose and forehead to prevent looking greasy. This Fashionista is wearing shade 205 Natural Beige.

Cream bronzer is a simple way to give your face a sun-kissed look. The Sonia Kashuk Undetectable Creme Bronzer ($11) is buildable, so you can apply it lightly for a natural look or more heavily for a dramatically contoured look. Use a flat brush to sweep on the product to define your cheekbones, sides of your nose, under your jawline and along your temples. Then blend it in with a damp sponge. This Fashionista is wearing the shade Warm Tan.

Give your cheeks a pop of color with a swipe of the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Blush Stick ($4) in Peach Bums.  Use a damp sponge to soften the product into your skin.

The e.l.f. Ultra Pigment Cushion Eyeshadow Palette ($12) in Island Breeze has a mix of satin and shimmer shades that can be used to create a simple or bold eye look. The aqua-infused shadows have a creamy texture that is easily buildable. Use a fluffy brush to put the darker shades on the outer corner of the eyes. The lighter shades are most pigmented when applied with your finger. For a fun pop of color, try adding the bright gold shade on the lower lash line! Then use your favorite eyeliner and mascara to complete the eyes.

Intensify your glow by adding the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder ($5) in Crown of My Canopy. Apply this peachy, ultra-blinding highlight with a fluffy fan brush on the top of your cheekbones, bridge of your nose and your cupid’s bow. For a more intense glow, try spritzing your brush with setting spray before using the product!

Top off your look with the NYX Intense Butter Gloss ($6) in the shade Apple Dumpling. This gloss leaves your lips looking plump without feeling sticky!

Lock in your makeup with the Milani Make It Last Setting Spray ($10). Spray it generously all over your face and your glow will look fresh all day long!
