FASHION FROM ABROAD: On the Prawl

Being a student can sometimes cause you to forget the Fashionista/o you are. Some days throwing on sweatpants and a sweater can suffice for that 90-minute Tuesday/Thursday class, but in Madrid, Spain style and comfort is the perfect combination. Throughout the city people love to pair sneakers with various outfits, keeping them trendy and stylish without their feet hurting while they are consistently on the go. Luckily I found a Fashionista who is not afraid to take her outfit to the next level.

Animal print has made a major comeback this season and Fashionistas/os are taking full advantage of it. Pairing a leopard print coat with PUMA creepers, this Fashionista made sure to prepare for either a night of studying or night around the town. Although her shirt is two-toned, the simplicity of the black and gray gives her coat all the attention it deserves. Ditching a pair of socks for fishnet tights is a subtle, yet evident, part of the outfit that allows for this style and comfort combination to stick out from the rest and keeps this Fashionista on the prowl. The statement earrings are a nice addition to this look; they give her just the right amount of glamour without clashing with the bold leopard print.

College students have barely enough time for school, jobs, internships, and homework, and sometimes our outfits get neglected because of the whirlwind of things headed our way. While sometimes it may be a struggle to be chic, pairing sneakers and a bold print with a simple outfit can make everything seem better.
