BEAUTY BAR: Blue Haired Beauty

In the blink of an eye, we are halfway through the fall semester! I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe we are already at the peak of the fall season! I have yet to pack away my summer sandals and don’t even get me started on my hair. Every summer, I do my best to grow the long, wavy locks of a mermaid. Yet every fall, I find myself wondering what to do with my never-ending hair that took me so long to grow. This Fashionista has found a perfect solution for anyone going through a seasonal hair dilemma, like me. Don’t trim away your hard work until you have tried a fun, new hair color! This Fashionista shows us how to transition from the summer to the fall with an ideal shade of dark blue. I admire her boldness!

Having never permanently dyed my hair a bright color, I always thought that having colorful hair would clash with my outfits. However, this Fashionista’s hair perfectly compliments her fall look. Her striking hair stands out against her light leather jacket. I would never have thought that mauve would pair so well with bright blue, but the two colors blend perfectly and totally scream fall! We can’t forget her dark wash jeans and heeled boots. These two pieces are essential when the cold weather rolls around. Her heels are the perfect height to wear both in class and on date night! The bows on the back of them add the perfect feminine touch. Finally, this Fashionista utilized several gold accessories to accentuate the shimmer in her jacket. These accessories will add a much-needed sparkle to any gloomy fall day.

Want to salvage your lengthy summer hair, without having to cut it? Try dyeing your locks a bold blue or a funky fuchsia! Don’t worry if you’re too scared to make a drastic change. Go for a dip-dyed effect and only add color throughout the ends of your hair. This way, when you get sick of it, you can simply cut the ends off! Better yet, sample colors on your hair by using temporary dye. Happy hair dyeing!
