Winter is fast approaching in NYC. It is also really starting to look a lot like Christmas in the city! I don’t know about you guys, but in the winter sometimes it gets difficult for me to put together cute outfits because it’s just so cold. All I really want to do it throw on a super cozy sweater to keep me warm and call it a day.
Here is an outfit that makes dressing for the cold easy. This outfit is super simple but the texture within each piece adds some definition. Sometimes you can wear a simple outfit but the texture adds character and gives it life…it really is all in the details!
This blush sweater is an amazing piece for the winter. Not only is it unbelievably soft, the eyelash texture is so fabulous. I found it at H&M last season but here is a similar one. This sweater is definitely a winter staple because you can dress it up for dinner with friends, or dress it down with some leggings to stay warm while running errands.
Paired with this sweater are black skinny jeans. These jeans have a wax coating which dresses them up and adds some shine. Not only did the cheetah shoes add a print to the look, they also played into the texture of the outfit since they were real hair. The eyelash sweater and cheetah hair shoes both complimented one another.
Finally, the jewelry was kept simple with just some stacked rings and a watch.
