ALL IN THE DETAILS: Nude And Gray Hues

Spring is a time for florals, pastels and rays of sunshine. It seems as though, here in Syracuse, we’ll have just a few more weeks of winter before we can enjoy the pleasures of springtime. Even if spring hasn’t sprung in your part of town just yet, you can still start to incorporate a bit of spring into your looks with different colors.

This Fashionista kept warm in this neutral toned ensemble. Get an early start transitioning from winter to spring by pairing some of your winter favorites with some lighter fun pieces. This Fashionista did so by pairing these dark gray slacks with a nude printed oversize collared jacket. The contrast of these two pieces complement one another very well, while adding variety to the look. She kept the nude and gray hues going with a multi-neutral colored scarf. She tied the look together with chocolate brown boots that balanced the nudes with the dark gray color of her slacks perfectly. For those of you who love your warm winter tones, keep them and add in pretty pastel colored jewelry for the spring. Neutrals are always complemented best with pops of bold colors.

How To: To hold you until spring, incorporate some spring accessories to your winter looks. Trade in your black coat for a neutral or light colored jacket. Also, play up basic shades of white, black and gray. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different shades of colors and textures. You’ll be surprised by all the fabulous looks you can pull together.
