ALL IN THE DETAILS: A Far-Out Bohemian

Have you noticed some of your style inspirations changing? Have you watched Saturday Night Fever recently and thought to yourself, “I could totally rock Stephanie’s off-the-shoulder red dress?” Maybe you have caught yourself listening to your mom’s Fleetwood Mac record, while dancing around pretending to be Stevie Nicks. Whatever the case, the ’70s are back and I can totally dig it.

So many groovy ’70s styles and fabrics are perfect for the fall. Fur coats, suede, flare pants, corduroy, chunky heels and clogs; endless ideas to bring out the foxy fall mama in all of us. When asked about her fall 2016 runway show, Tory Burch said that she was stuck on the ’70s. She’s not the only designer that predicted the ’70s stay the power decade of the moment for fashion. Gucci, Burberry, Altuzarra and many more showcased ’70s inspired runway looks for fall 2016.

When I saw this Fashionista she was giving me the ’70s vibe I have been craving for the beginning of fall. Her off-the-shoulder crop top features flowy sleeves, which add that far-out bohemian touch. This Fashionista’s groovy details is what brings this look into a harmonious blend between 1976 and 2016. A trendy floppy hat was a part of lots of women’s wardrobes in the ’70s. This Fashionista’s structured hat brings her look into modern day while still playing homage to the wide brimmed trend of previous years.

The Fashionista paired basic leather pieces, her bag and booties, with her look. These were banging because of their brown earthy tones that could easily be used for any decade of fashion inspiration. Her layered necklaces and rings offered a feminine touch, with a bit of an edge. Staying true to the ’70s earth hippie vibe, the jewelry featured different stones and crystals. The most throwback accessory and my favorite was the Fashionista’s belt, featuring three western inspired buckles that made her look like she just got back from touring with The Eagles.

Okay, so don’t be a spaz and take a note from this hip chick. Channel the ’70s for your fall looks and you’re sure to look dyno-mite!
