Getting prepared for the summer comes with a long to-do list. From trying to finish off the semester on a strong note to securing a summer job or internship position to planning vacations, it’s ironic how the time of year that is supposed to be spent relaxing can bring about a lot of stress. Luckily for us, one of the best ways to relieve stress has awesome health benefits. Whether you are trying to get into shape or simply let off some steam, working out can be the ultimate pre-summer activity to help you stay on track. I spotted a Fashionista on campus who had on a total CollegeFashionista-worthy pair of sneakers to wear during a workout session.

This Fashionista wore a pair of bright pink Nike sneakers that immediately caught my eye as I saw her walking down the street. I personally think that bright or even patterned sneakers are the ideal piece to rock for workout wear. Statement footwear is an easy way to show your sense of style off in the gym. With her sneakers, she wore a pair of leggings that have been a trending item for workout clothing for years, as they are easy to move in and smoothly transition from gym wear to streetwear.

This Fashionista’s outfit, along with her military green coat for outwear and Herschel Supply Co. backpack, created an on-the-go look that will still allow her to be comfortable while working out after a morning of classes. Take note of this Fashionista’s sense of style and grab a pair of statement-making training sneakers of your own. You’ll be officially set to head to the gym and work out that pre-summer stress!
