WHAT TO WEAR: Winter

Global warming does not only affect the weather, but also our outfits. In the Northeast, we’ve been having those unseasonably warm February days where it’s far too warm for The North Face jacket, jeans and duck boots, and a little bit too chilly for a spring skirt and a crop top. Here at Lafayette College, this Fashionista shows us how to find the perfect balance between staying cozy, yet ready to embrace the occasional spring weather.

She is seen wearing a simple T-shirt dress with a loose, knit cardigan. The contrast between the olive color of the dress and the cream-colored cardigan keep the winter vibes alive. This Fashionista has chosen to accessorize in a minimalistic style by layering three bracelets: a light green, gold and rhinestone one. The accessories are simple, yet give a bling factor to the whole outfit. She wears this outfit with suede black booties and a classy black backpack.

This is a perfect outfit for when your running late to class or choose to wear something simple yet chic. Having a simple colored dress, a cardigan, booties and a bag are versatile closet essentials.

One Simple Change: This outfit can be go from day to night with couple of small small exchanges. A black leather jacket instead of the loose knit cardigan, black pumps instead of booties and a clutch instead of the backpack, can take you from running late to class to a night out with your friends. A simple dress, a couple of closet essentials and a great attitude is all that is needed to stay RAD!
