WHAT TO WEAR: Winter

Although most Philadelphia restaurants and cafes are still holding on to their cozy, post-Valentine’s Day afterglow, the long subway trek downtown can still be icy even on the hottest date. Even though winter weather in the City of Brotherly Love can be unpredictable, a true Fashionisto knows how to brave the cold in style.

This Fashionisto is always prepared to face the cold with two of his favorite trends this winter: camel and chelsea’s. His warm camel coat and matching Chelsea boots keep him warm on long winter walks both on and off campus. This Fashionisto paired his coat with a camouflage scarf and maroon beanie to stay cozy on one of the coldest weekends of the season.

The long silhouettes, neutral colors and camouflage accents featured in this look embody the same trends as Kanye West’s newest collection, Yeezy Season Three. The rapper’s newest collection relied heavily on long, loose garments like our Fashionisto’s long white button-down and coat as well as earth tones like the tans, greens and browns found in this winter look.

Although this look is perfect for a winter night in the city, many of the pieces are versatile enough to wear even as the seasons change. The classic white button-down, jeans and neutral boots are perfect for the transitional months between winter and spring, so our Fashionisto will look his best even as the temperatures rise.

One Simple Change: Is it already starting to warm up on your campus? Simply swap the coat for a lighter jacket or cardigan and you have the perfect transitional outfit for spring.
