WHAT TO WEAR: Winter

The winter blues have officially struck the streets of West Chester University. So has the struggle of wanting to go out and look nice but not wanting to leave your house in anything but sweatpants and your ex’s oversized sweatshirt you never gave back (whoops). Instead of giving up your style for comfort, I found the perfect in-between that will have you bracing the cold with confidence a little more often.

Like me, this Fashionista ditched the sweats for something as comfortable but way more stylish! To keep warm, she is sporting a gray and white striped hooded cardigan from Eddie Bauer. Its’ cotton and polyester feel makes it soft and warm. It also has two front pockets and a hood! What more could a girl want!?

Underneath the cardigan is just a simple Forever 21 gray long sleeve as well as black leggings. To keep a neutral color scheme, she added a black infinity scarf and a trendy gray American Eagle Outfitters beanie. If you are rushing out the door and have no time to fix your bed head, the beanie is a great accessory to throw on. Polishing off the look this Fashionista’s staple piece is her elephant watch she found at francesca’s, and her black Hunter Boots appropriate for rain or snow!

One Simple Change: With just a change from leggings into a high-waisted skirt and booties and the removal of her beanie, this Fashionista is ready for brunch. The cardigan is a perfect piece to layer almost anything.
