WHAT TO WEAR: Weekend Wear

This March, Ohio University students rolled back onto campus with one thought in their minds—well besides missing the beach. That would be the ever so infamous Ohio University fest season. Streets are shut down, music is blaring and the dress code is anything goes. There are often bright-colored pants, oversized jerseys and fanny packs, because lots of fanny packs are acceptable to don on one of these days. Students plan their festing outfits out weeks in advance to make sure they are on their A game when the day comes.

I caught up with this Fashionisto the week leading up to High Fest. He caught my eye with his insane use of color that was styled to perfection as to not come off as over the top. He was full on ready to fest in a long sleeve pocket T-shirt with a graphic design and light gray skinnies. But, could this even be a fest outfit without some crazy cool accessories? Of course not! That is why this Fashionisto topped off his outfit by throwing on a vibrant tropical snapback, some classic shades and a pair of fluorescent animal print kicks, all purchased at Tilly’s.

If you are planning to visit Ohio University for the upcoming fests, take note of this fashion-forward fellow, and you will be set for an amazing day in the sun, or possibly rain, raging with your friends!

One Simple Change: Need to run to dinner after a long day of festing? Maybe your parents are in town for parent’s weekend? No problem. Just swap out the neon accessories for a more classic shoe and baseball cap, and you’ll be good to go in a matter of seconds.
