WHAT TO WEAR: Traveling

I just returned from being overseas, and let’s say I am very jet lagged. A group of us traveled to learn about the fascinating cultures of London and Dublin. When traveling anywhere in the world, it can always be difficult to pack. Especially, when you can only take one bag and there is a weight limit. However, here I have the cutest Fashionista who is always on top of trends! Her outfit is a perfect example of how to dress comfortably but still chic when jet-setting across the world.

Whenever I start packing for a trip overseas, I immediately think of neutral colors and layers. Even though you can look at the weather forecast, Mother Nature is always full of surprises. One day it could be sunny and 75 degrees and the next day cold enough you wish you’d brought hats and gloves. With all that being said, layering is encouraged when traveling abroad.

This Fashionista’s look is an excellent combination of neutral colors and layers. Her base starts off with a classic white skinny jean and a lightweight olive green and white striped long sleeve. Next, she has a slightly oversized sweater for extra warmth. Her last layer is the most important, an anorak jacket. A lined jacket is key when traveling Europe during May, particularly London and Dublin. These two cities are known for the rain.

This Fashionista accessorizes with a skull scarf and a perfectly sized Rebecca Minkoff cross-body bag. For travelers that love wearing colors, I recommend incorporating colors through accessories like her blue mirrored aviators. Lastly, she completes her look with New Balance sneakers to display the ultimate comfy yet chic vibe. Just like that jet-setting across the world can be comfortable and chic at the same time.

One Simple Change: Just got done adventuring and traveling around? Whether you’re grabbing a bite to eat or simply getting drinks at a bar, try throwing on some bootie heels for a more polished evening look.
