WHAT TO WEAR: Time to Hit the Books

We have all been there. The day before classes’ start, you are stressing out over what to wear.  So you wake up early to find that perfect outfit for the first day back to school. You may even map out your outfit over the entire winter break so it slays; while some of us will wait last minute. Nevertheless, do not let the weather ruin your style. Rain, sleet, or shine, you will always make heads turn no matter the forecast.

Everyone gets butterflies before their first day back to class. However, you start planning the semester out to a “T.” You wake up, dress to kill while looking effortless, eat breakfast/grab coffee from that spot that gives student discounts, and take pics of the amazing latte you just had and post it on Snapchat. You go to class, and try not to fall asleep.  It is only right that you do so; it is the first day.

The secret to killing it on the first day back is to be comfy like this Fashionisto. Less is more. An outfit simplistic like this will make people take notice. You can never go wrong with the basic essentials or neutrals like this Fashionisto.  A fitted, basic black, crew-neck sweater is laid back, but still has that clean look. In addition, we have medium dark wash denim that is cuffed at the ankles and paired with maroon Dr. Martens to add a pop of color. The Fashionisto also has on black wayfarer glasses.  To keep oneself warm a navy puffer jacket and the must essential accessory, your Herschel backpack.  Good luck this semester and check in for more updates and style advice.
