WHAT TO WEAR: The '90s Are Here to Stay

The last of the ’90s kids will be moving into college in the next couple years and they’re bringing with them the fashion from that decade. Although we were alive in the ’90s, we were wearing Teletubbies patterns while going to preschool. Since we missed out on the great ’90s grunge that was being worn by older siblings and celebrities, we’re making up for missed fashion opportunities now. Looks inspired by the ’90s have been spotted for the past few years now, and although people speculate this will be a big year for the ’80s, I don’t think we can shake the ’90s just yet.

This Fashionista makes a strong case for the ’90s with her edgy outfit. As the weather is consistently cold at this point in the year, this Fashionista has found a way to look cute and warm at the same time. While the pink, crushed velvet, skater dress may seem perfect for summer, by pairing a basic long-sleeve tee underneath it can easily transition for winter. For shoes, this Fashionista chose over-the-knee boots which complete the outfit while adding the much needed warmth. To complete the look this Fashionista kept it cute and simple with a black jewel choker. Even this Fashionista’s beauty is on par with tousled waves and a dark berry lip.

Take inspiration from this Fashionista when it comes to ’90s fashion. If you’re still not sure how to incorporate this into your style then a few key trends that you can add to take your outfit to the ’90s are: chokers, skater dresses, mood rings, or Doc Martens.
