WHAT TO WEAR: Tailgating

Class, dinner, shopping and studying are only a few of the many places that college students rock school sprit. My favorite day though, is game day. At a Big Ten university, football game day is a way of life. The early 7:00 a.m. alarm and the shouts of “Go Green, Go White” can only get you even more pumped up.

With the weather changing it’s only getting colder, so it’s crucial to stay warm. For game day tailgating, this Fashionisto wore a comfortable and simple outfit. He chose to rock a Michigan State hockey jersey as his spirit piece. One the most important parts of tailgating fashion is staying warm and this jersey gives him the ability to layer underneath for extra game day warmth. He paired the jersey with medium wash jeans and duck boots. As well as warmth, comfort is key. With constant standing, walking shoes with support are nothing but a good idea. To complete the look, this Fashionisto added sunglasses and a watch to he makes sure he gets to the game on time!

Once at the game, this Fashionisto will sport a foam finger, which makes for a perfect photo op. Showing school spirit is one of the best parts of being a college student and game day is the perfect place to do it!

One Simple Change: Michigan State just won and you want to go out with your friends–switch out the jersey for a green and white flannel and you’re ready to take on East Lansing (after a nap, of course!).
