WHAT TO WEAR: Stepping into Spring with Style

Now that we have finally seen some warmer weather, it’s officially time to clean out our closets and make room for some spring essentials! This natural Fashionista is taking the change of temperature perfectly, and it hasn’t stopped her from looking cute on the way to class!

We all know how much of a struggle it can be to look cute and trendy for class but also be comfy and functional at the same time. This Fashionista does a great job at showing us that it is possible to do both!

While some may think a leather jacket only belongs in the fall and winter months, this Fashionista proves that this closet staple can easily be incorporated into your spring wardrobe. The key update on a leather jacket for spring is to switch colors, going from black to brown. The cropped style this Fashionista is wearing makes the leather jacket look less heavy, and the gold hardware add a nice touch of glam! Her jacket, in particular, can also convert to a brown leather vest if you unzip the sleeves. Talk about having two great looks with one jacket!

This Fashionista was smart to pair the jacket with a light pink lace top to add some nice pop of color to her look. Ripped jeans and ankle boots help complete the look of casual but trendy when walking around campus on the way to class. Her choice of color in the ankle boots was spot on! Gray is less harsh compared to black so her outfit isn’t weighed down during these warmer months.
