WHAT TO WEAR: Springtime Hues with the Winter Blues

It’s mid winter and you might be getting a little too chilly for comfort. So here’s some inspiration for how to spice up a gloomy day of classes.

Comfy sweaters are a must have this season. In New York City, the avenues are wind tunnels so if you haven’t stocked up on sweaters yet, it’s time. Check out this cute, beige  sweater this Fashionista chose for her outfit of the day. She likes it because it’s soft and easy to wear. She throws it on when she has class early in the morning to still look put together.

Even though it’s freezing out, fashion never backs down and neither does this Fashionista. She chose these awesome green shorts to stand out among the bleak background. The sidewalks are lined in white snow and the streets are lined in brown mush so fun floral shorts remind everyone that spring is just around the corner. Flowy shorts are a personal favorite of mine. I have too many pairs to count and in so many colors.

To protect her legs from the harsh winds, this Fashionista wears over-the-knee boots. These boots are all the rage this season. They can be found on my favorite celebrities like Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Kylie Jenner. These boots are black suede and a favorite trend of mine!

To finish the look off and be ready to take her classes by storm, she’s wearing a simple silver necklace from Tiffany & Co.

All together, this look is easy, yet totally fashion-forward. Try these pieces together for an everyday school look and use them as mix and match pieces with your wardrobe. Whatever you do, stay true to you and don’t forget about the springtime hues.
