WHAT TO WEAR: Spring

Now that the it’s starting to feel like spring in San Francisco, we can begin shed our layers, move our winter coats to the back of the closet and start the countdown to summer! While we can’t quite expect perfect beach weather yet, it’s important to still be prepared for those chilly, sunny days that keep sending us mixed signals.

This Fashionista’s look is all about mixing textures! While wearing white past Labor Day is considered a major fashion faux pas, now is the time to pull out your white denim! It can be tough to pull off your favorite white skinnies in the winter, so wearing them on a sunny, spring day will have your outfit looking so fresh and so clean, clean. As the weather can be unpredictable, now is the time to stock up on lightweight sweaters that won’t leave you in a sweat when you’re power walking to your next class. Pairing your distressed denim with a textured sweater will have you feeling just as cute as you look. Neutral colored booties are an essential for any closet and appropriate for almost every occasion, making them a must have. Straying from darker colors like black and gray, any shade from light cream to dark tan will brighten your outfit and have you on trend for the season. As much as we love our crocheted infinity scarves, the time has come to weigh in on some lighter options. Whether you’re opting for polyester or silk, you want your scarf to be lightweight and breathable. A cute paisley print never hurt anyone, either.

One Simple Change: If you’re  planning on doing Sunday brunch with your gal pals, ditch your pullover sweater with an off-the-shoulder top for a flirty and feminine touch. To top the look off, accessorize with an oversized felt hat and your favorite round sunglasses.
