WHAT TO WEAR: Slowly Falling for Fall

I’m the first to admit, I’m obsessed with fall. The leaves, pumpkins, Halloween, the fun treats and of course, the clothes that go with the amazingly crisp weather. As fall rolls around I think we’re all ready to cozy up in one of our comfiest sweater and show off our new boots, but we can’t jump the gun too soon as it’s still 80 degrees out! One of my favorite Fashionistas has the best solution to this annual problem. Simply pair summer essentials with a touch of fall when it comes to colors and accessories, which makes for perfect transitional outfits.

This Fashionista knows it might be too soon to go crazy with chic sweaters and the coolest new jeans but it’s also about time to start saying “until next year” to short shorts and sandals that were there during those unforgettable summer nights. My fashionable friend decided to pair a perfectly fitted black tank top with a fall appropriate rust color skirt to combat the September heat. It’s easy to throw a light bomber jacket or cardigan over this look during the chilly walk to class in the morning, but by the time the sun is in full force, the tank top and skirt will keep you cool!

This Fashionista gets ready for the cooler weather by pairing this ensemble with perfect lace up ankle booties that welcome fall without rushing into it too soon! Her black belt, perfect cat eye sunnies, and cool jewels polish this look off and makes her ready for her long work and school day.

As the temperature drops and the pumpkins appear, she could always add a cropped sweater and maybe some higher boots with fuzzy socks to make sure she’s warm and still chic!
