WHAT TO WEAR: Presentation

As the fall semester progresses, we all have certain obligations and events to attend to. Some of them being the more nerve-racking ones, such as a presentation. Depending on the presentation, you may have to dress a certain way, or you’ll want to in order to get you specific point across. The particular Fashionista, who is also a Fashion Design major, has a bit more leeway when it comes to dressing for a presentation, since Fashion Design majors are able to dress in a different “professional” manner, especially for a project critique. Not having to worry about traditional “presentation wear,” this Fashionista is able to get away with dressing in a way that will enhance her fashion design work that she is presenting.

This Fashionista decided to go with a very autumnal look, both stylish and comfortable for her critique.  Since it has not become too cold yet on the East Coast, she was able to go without tights, and go for a pair of thigh-high boots. The boots pair very well with her loose and stylish tunic dress, which features a lace detail in the back, also showing off her criss-cross bralette. To finish the look, this Fashionista donned a pair of simple yet classy earrings and a small necklace for extra detail.

One Simple Change: Going out later for relaxation and fun after a stressful presentation or critique? Prepare for the chillier weather during the night and don a cool leather fringe jacket and a pair of leather platform boots with a bit more of a heel. To top it off, swipe a quick red lip to give it that ultra “night wear” look.
